Arriving to Kastelruth – How to reach us
Arrival by car: The easiest way to reach Castelrotto is via the Brennero/Brenner highway (A22).
From the north via Innsbruck-Brenner-Klausen, from the south via Verona-Bolzano-Klausen. The most convenient exit is Klausen/Gröden. From there you can reach Kastelruth – St. Michael after about 30 minutes on a well-signposted mountain road.
Arrival by train and bus: There are good IC and EC connections from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium. They run via Munich, Innsbruck, Brennero/Brenner to Bressanone/Brixen or Bolzano/Bozen. Some trains also stop in Klausen or Waidbruck. From Bressanone/Brixen or Bolzano/Bozen a bus service takes you comfortably to Castelrotto/Kastelruth every half hour.
